A Grandmother By Necessity Must Be a Political Activist

Below is a letter I wrote to my US Senator
John Cornyn. I should have re-read it better,
as
there are some grammatical errors.
I feel I need to speak up and if there are those who have not seen or heard then maybe they will begin to see.
As things are unfolding in our country, we must look at true principles taught to us by the Lord and our clerical leaders. The land should be used for the sustenance of the people using it. We should not let the evil designs of men those looking for power, financial gain, etc, at the expense of their fellowmen) go unchecked without speaking out about it and encouraging leaders of the country to think more of their country than their pocket book or power.
I pray my voice will be heard and understood,
in spite of my weakness with expressing what I know to be true.

I will cry out for true principles to be returned to and our country return to Godly truths.

U.S. Senator John Cornyn

Your Message:
Agriculture
First I would like to thank you for standing up for true principles on behalf of
the American Public in regards to over spending and too much government
regulation.

I would like to request you to delve into the research that has shown the hybrid
seeds of Monsanto and others have made life for the Eastern farmers less
productive and for some the use of the chemicals they have pushed on the
agriculture have been detrimental to their health.

I have been working in agriculture for 6 years now, and have taken classes
everywhere from Master Gardening to starting my Masters in Horticulture at Texas
Tech.
As I have written my papers, delving into today horticulture atmosphere, and the
requested legislative actions, I have discovered, and I believe I am right, that
our agriculture program and our President's program are driven by the UN's
Agenda 21. We have never signed a treaty on this Agenda, but with President
Clinton and VP Al Gore, their plan was implement with the by words of
sustainable environment and communities etc.
Please take a stand against this. Please try and turn our agriculture around to
what it should be again, people growing food and plants to feed our country and
sharing with others if we have a surplus. My family was always small farmers
and their fields went idle as the government pushed and encouraged them to grow
less. My late aunt lamented at the idle fields.
Please turn our country's land back to productivity not idleness to be developed
into consumers not producers.
Thank you
Frances Ellsworth

Good Job Mom! That was a great letter! My Father in law and Big Red and I were just discussing this weekend how it is so much more expensive to do things yourself. And I've always felt that was wrong. But our government has made it so with it's taxes and environmental protection crap. Love you!
